JOIN THE PROJECT
KNS needs small businesses, large corporation, elected officials, clergymen and women, community leaders, probation/parole offficers, parents, educators, other organizations who service this population, and all other person of interest. KNS request your help with supporting this population of people, children, and families for they are, “The Forgotten Voices of America.”
KNS plea to employers who can offer these women employment opportunities while taking advantage of the incentive programs for employers. We, KNS, supporters ask those in leadership positions to open up your hearts, minds, churches, and businesses to embrace and or assist this population with basis needs and supplies.
KNS challenges all the aforementioned helping professionals to step out of your comfort zone and eliminate the, “Not in my Backyard” attitude and reach out to people with criminals records, their children (C.O.I.P) as well as their families in your communities by way of a simple gesture, invitation to church, hot meal, an educational/resourceful event, or just a friendly conversation.
Women, girls, and transgender females are human beings and they are apart of our communities. KNS aim is to influence local and private donors, foundations, and businesses in our communities to support our mission to help eliminate female discrimination, female incarceration,and help improve the quality of lives for currently and formerly incarcerated girls, women, transgender females, and their families. Your financial support will help with the purchase of permanent housing, employment transportation, after-school and summer camp services, on-site certified therapist, basis needs supplies, family reunification services, continuous education and community awareness events.
